Abstract
A 90-year-old woman, hampered in walking, was found dangerously wounded in a farm next to a chicken yard. On the occasion of forensic clinical investigation in hospital we found hematomas and many peculiar injuries of the epidermis and some defects even reaching the extremities of the subcutis and fascia. After experimental investigations we could show that these injuries were caused by the bills of chickens.
